Product Description
Leather Stain Remover has been designed to remove various types of stains from coated leather surfaces while causing little to no damage to the coating itself.
The product is a blend of mild solvents that together create a long molecule chain so that when used to remove stains, the product isn’t too aggressive.
It is safe to use on all types of leather except suede or nubuck but extra care should be taken when used on bicast, two-tone or rub off leathers as this could remove the top coat colour. If you have an absorbent type of leather, such as aniline or pull-up leather, the Leather Stain Remover won’t be as effective as the stains will have been absorbed into the leather.
Instead, we recommend you use our Leather Degreaser to extract stains from these types of leather.

Step 1.
Clean the leather thoroughly first using the Leather Ultra Clean. This product is easier to use and could remove the stain. If the leather is still stained, proceed to step 2.
Step 2.
Never apply the Leather Stain Remover directly to the leather. Instead, apply the Stain Remover onto a dry cloth. Gently dab the surface of the leather where the stain is and the cloth will absorb the stain. Work from the outside of the stain inwards.
Step 3.
Wipe over the area with a dry cloth to remove any excess Leather Stain Remover and leave to dry thoroughly.
Step 4.
Repeat steps if the stain persists.
To help prevent future staining and to make the leather easier to clean, apply Leather Protection Cream once every three months. If this is done, future stains will wipe off easily using a damp cloth or the Leather Ultra Clean. Both of these products can be purchased in one easy and convenient package, as part of our Leather Care Kit.
What types of staining can Leather Stain Remover be used for?
Leather Stain Remover is specifically formulated to be incredibly versatile and has been tested on an extensive range of everyday stains including: dye transfer from clothing, food and beverage spills, sticky marks, nail varnish and paint. All of these household stains can be tackled effectively with our Leather Stain Remover.
Can I use Leather Stain Remover on all types of leather?
Most, but not all; it is not suitable for use on items made from suede and nubuck leathers and is also less effective when used on absorbent leathers such as aniline or pull-up leathers. If you have an aniline or pull-up leather item, you should use Leather Degreaser to remove the stain.
Leather Stain Remover is safe and effective when used on all other types of leather.
Will Leather Stain Remover help to protect against future staining?
No, it is formulated to be a stain remover only, it will not guard against future staining. We offer a highly effective leather stain protector in the form of our Leather Protection Cream, which forms an invisible barrier on the surface of your leather that repels grime and spillage of all types, holding them on the surface until they can be cleaned off and preventing future staining. This can be purchased individually or as part of the Leather Care Kit.
Is Leather Stain Remover difficult to use and will it damage my leather?
Leather Stain remover is designed to be used for quick and effective stain removal and is very simple to use, with full instructions provided. It is formulated to contain a mixture of mild solvents that are effective at breaking down stubborn stains but will not damage your leather. By carefully following instructions and applying the product in line with the instructions, with a sponge instead of directly on to the surface being treated, you can ensure that your stains will be removed without fear of causing damage to your leather.
Is Leather Stain Remover suitable for removing stains from any leather item?
Yes, as long as your leather item is not made from some of the more sensitive leathers listed above, it is suited for use on any leather item including: Sofas, chairs and upholstery, car interiors, clothing, shoes and handbags.
Will the Stain Remover remove ink from leather?
No. For that you should use our Ink Remover Kit which is designed specifically for removing ink.
If you have an absorbent leather such as aniline or pull-up we recommend extracting the stain with our Leather Degreaser.
