    An easy to use, strong and extremely flexible water based glue used for repairing leather.

    Product Description

    The leather glue is a polyurethane based, heat activated glue that remains flexible even once set. This means that you can repair damage on high use areas and not be worried about the damage splitting open as the glue will bend and flex with the leather without compromising its strength.

    As this is not a contact adhesive glue, it gives you the time you need to manipulate the leather or get your Repair Sub Patch in place before the glue sets. Once you are happy everything is in place, simply apply heat with a hairdryer to cure the glue.

    • Dries in about 15 minutes but continually sets over a 24 hour period.
    • Suitable for use on all leather types and all articles of leather.

    • A hole in your leather or vinyl is repairable.

    • Fill 50% of the hole with the Leather & Vinyl Weld.

    • Then fill the hole level with the surface.

    • The product is then cured with a heat gun at 200 degrees C.

    • Press the Grain Pad into the Weld & put the ‘Heat Paper’ on top. Firmly press the Sealing Iron, set to full, onto the Heat Paper for one Minute.

    • After heat is applied, the weld is cured and becomes transparent.

    • The repair can then be coloured with leather repair paint.

    Can this only be used on furniture?

    No, this can be used to repair holes in any leather, vinyl, or faux leather, and is used widely throughout homes, cars, boats, clothing and many more articles.

    Is this suitable for repairing a hole on my dashboard?

    Yes, the Leather & Vinyl Weld is perfect for repairing damages on dashboards. It can be used to repair all different types of plastics, leather, vinyl and faux leather.

    I have a hole on my leather seating area, can this be used on that?

    Yes, you can use the Leather & Vinyl Weld on a leather seating area, however we recommend using our Heavy Filler for these types of repairs. This is simply because the Heavy Filler creates a stronger bond to leather.
