Product Description
Grain Repair has been developed with the professional in mind; to assist in achieving the best possible looking repairs to damaged leather.
Grain Repair is used to recreate the grain pattern on damaged, repaired leather. Also, it can be used where the grain has been removed. The process is simple – just draw the by grain directly onto any of our fillers (Flexifil or Heavy Filler). Using it in this way, you can replicate the grain form the surrounding areas and is possible to create invisible repairs.
Grain Repair can also be used on large areas of damage. This will create a textured surface to help your repair blend in by removing the smoothness of the filler.

Small Details
Using a paint brush or cocktail stick, apply small dots of Grain Repair onto the leather so it creates mounds of similar sizes and shapes to the leathers grain. Do not make the mounds too close together as they could join. The product will dry clear; more can be added between the dry mounds to build up and blend in the grain pattern.
Larger Areas
Using a textured sponge (rip a sponge in half to create a texture) lightly dab the Grain Repair onto the repaired areas so it creates a textured surface on the filler.
The product can be left to dry naturally or speeded up with a hairdryer. Colourant should then be applied afterwards.
